The role of the modern librarian is changing as fast as technology advances. As the needs of the customers change, librarians need to be flexible and adaptable.
There are, however, some things that remain constant for the professional librarian: Librarians empower society. In the future, they’ll continue to do so by bridging the digital divide by staying current with technological developments and helping communities navigate this new terrain.
