Information made available through open access is freely available to all users everywhere – and it’s something the library sector should back wholeheartedly.

E-book business model transformed
Publishers as partners
Plan workshops for faculty about the importance of open access
Advocate for the inclusion of open-access journals
Educate public library users on how open-access issues impact their ability to access pertinent information, particularly medical and other scientific information
On July 31st 2015 the Library and Information Association of New Zealand Aotearoa and Te Rōpū Whakahau co-hosted Taking Libraries to 2025: The Future of Libraries Summit at the Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington.
